Care Instructions — Suede
Suede is a soft, tactile leather with a natural nap that responds best to gentle care and light handling.
General Care
-
Avoid contact with water, oils, perfumes, and cosmetics
-
Keep suede away from prolonged exposure to sunlight or heat
-
Colour transfer can occur when suede comes into contact with light fabrics
Cleaning
-
Use a soft suede brush to gently lift the nap and remove surface dust
-
Brush in one direction once the suede is completely dry
-
For light marks, a clean suede eraser may help—use gently
Moisture
-
If suede becomes wet, blot immediately with a dry cloth
-
Allow to air dry naturally—do not apply heat
-
Once dry, gently brush to restore the texture
Protection
-
Consider using a suede protector spray before first use
-
Always test on a discreet area to ensure it does not alter the colour or finish
Storage
-
Store in the provided dust bag when not in use
-
Avoid pressure or friction that may flatten the nap
-
Do not store in plastic, which can trap moisture
Natural Variation
Variations in texture, tone, and nap are inherent to suede and will evolve with use. This is part of the material’s natural character.
